Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a VP of Data & AI to shape the enterprise data strategy, build the data platform, and establish governance across 300+ facilities and 12,000+ associates. You will lead AI/ML initiatives from MLOps infrastructure to clinical decision support, partnering with C-suite and clinical leaders to drive value, safety and responsible AI.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data/AI leadership, with 4+ at VP level
• Experience building enterprise data platforms at scale (cloud-native, modern data stack: dbt, Spark, Databricks or Snowflake)
• Healthcare data experience — EHR integration, HIPAA compliance, clinical data structures
• Hands-on AI/ML leadership from business case to production deployment
• Proven track record leading teams of 10+ in complex orgs
• Experience establishing data governance frameworks in multi-site healthcare

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise data strategy and platform roadmap.
• Lead AI roadmap from MLOps infrastructure to production deployment and monitoring.
• Establish responsible AI standards and AI governance.
• Partner with executives on data-informed product decisions and platform design.
• Build and lead a high-performing data/AI team across multiple functions.
• Own budget, vendor evaluation, and ROI analysis for data/AI investments
