HHS, LLC is seeking a seasoned food service leader to manage the culinary team at Kindred Hospital Dayton. You will deliver high-quality patient meals, create appealing hospital cafe offerings, and drive partnerships with dietitians and chefs to ensure nutritional value and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• ServSafe Food Service Manager Certification.
• 5+ years food operations experience, including 3+ years in management.
• Experience with cash handling policies.
• Familiarity with various POS/register systems.
• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platforms.
• Willing to relocate for promotion opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the food service department to ensure service quality.
• Coordinate with department and leadership to meet goals.
• Collaborate with dietitians and chefs on menus with nutrition value.
• Foster morale and teamwork.
• Maintain and improve customer and patient satisfaction through integrity and performance.
• Oversee recruitment, training, scheduling and assignments.
• Conduct daily inspections, coaching and counseling.
• Manage inventory, ordering, vendor relations, scheduling, payroll to meet budget.
• Implement team-building to ensure a positive, safe environment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory agencies.
