Job summary

HHS is seeking a friendly and compassionate leader to join our culinary team at Kindred Hospital – Havertown. You will deliver high-quality food service in a healthcare setting, support healing journeys, and create a welcoming hospital cafe as a community asset.

Lead a team, collaborate with dietitians and chefs, manage operations, and ensure budget, safety, and patient satisfaction while offering growth opportunities and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• ServSafe Food Service Manager Certification is required.
• 5+ years in food operations with 3+ years in management.
• Experience with cash handling policies and POS systems.
• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the food service department to provide excellent service and quality.
• Communicate with leadership to achieve goals.
• Develop menus with dietitians and chefs for nutrition and trends.
• Provide leadership that fosters morale, quality and respect.
• Maintain customer and patient satisfaction through communication and integrity.
