Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare/medical billing and collection office preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills; proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.
• USRC applications proficiency required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Review end of month batches for proper reimbursement.
• Research insurance refund requests to determine appropriateness.
• Research credit balances to determine adjustments or refunds.
• Maintain refund request spreadsheet to track requests.
• Participate in staff meetings as required.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.
• Perform other duties as required.
