Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Credit Analyst to handle refund requests and credit balances within our healthcare billing environment. You will review monthly batches, research refund reasons, and ensure accurate adjustments while maintaining thorough records.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 2+ years in healthcare billing. Proficiency in MS Office and USRC systems is expected, with reliable attendance and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare/medical billing and collection office preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with USRC applications within 90 days.

• Maintain Refund Request Spreadsheet to track requests.

The Credit Analyst is responsible for performing all duties related to resolving payment refund requests and credit balances.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

• Review End of Month/End of Month Batches for proper reimbursement.
• Research Insurance Requests for Refunds to determine if appropriate.
• Research Credit Balances to determine if adjustment or refund is needed.
• Maintain Refund Request Spreadsheet to track requests.
• Participate in staff meetings as required.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job.
• Preform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Requirements include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) plus years of experience in healthcare/medical billing and collection office preferred.
• Must have intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); proficiency in USRC applications required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, deadline driven environment.
