Job summary

Dean Dorton’s Healthcare Consulting team seeks a Credentialing Services Specialist to manage credentialing and enrollment for providers across payers. The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, licensure tracking, and ongoing compliance across multiple states.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of handling fast-paced credentialing work while protecting patient information under HIPAA. This position supports client care and revenue cycle efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of provider credentialing experience across multiple payers and specialties.
• Experience with Intellisoft and CAQH databases preferred.
• Familiarity with EFT setup, payer enrollment, and credentialing requirements across multiple states.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality, with HIPAA compliance focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage provider credentialing and enrollment with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
• Initiate payer contracts for new physician practices and monitor revalidations/ renewals.
• Maintain accurate provider records including licensure, certifications, malpractice, and DEA registration.
• Complete updates in Intellisoft, CAQH, and payer-specific portals; ensure timely processing.
