Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• One year credentialing experience preferred in healthcare.
• Alternative: 3–5 years of healthcare credentialing experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with automated credentialing systems is desired.

Responsibilities

• Credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging for healthcare staff per IHSC requirements.
• Obtain and verify credentials, state licensure, and certifications; maintain ongoing checks.
• Maintain credential files for accuracy and accessibility; update annually.
• Produce monthly and ad hoc credentialing reports to identify gaps.
