Job summary

Marin Community Clinics is seeking a Credentialing and Licensing Coordinator to maintain licenses, permits, and regulatory records, and to support initial credentialing and recredentialing for clinical staff. You will ensure timely renewals, verify credentials, and coordinate with HR, payers, and compliance across MCC sites.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and experience with credentialing systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, public administration, or a related field.
• Three years of healthcare credentialing, licensing, medical staff services, accreditation, regulatory operations, or related experience desired.
• Experience with primary-source verification, credentialing databases, expiration tracking, committee preparation, and confidential records.
• FQHC or multi-site ambulatory healthcare experience and familiarity with California licensing, HRSA, payer, and Joint Commission requirements preferred.
• National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) credentialing education or certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate inventory, renewal calendar, required postings, and audit-ready files for licenses, permits, registrations, certificates, fees, and agency correspondence.
• Coordinate applications, renewals, amendments, relocations, service changes, closures, and terminations within required timeframes.
• Support applicable CDPH, California State Board of Pharmacy, laboratory, radiologic, dental, medical-waste, hazardous-material, fire, occupancy, and local business requirements.
• Monitor agency communications and escalate questions, deficiencies, or time-sensitive issues to accountable leaders and Compliance.
• Coordinate with HRSA scope, payer enrollment, NPI, Facilities, Finance, Pharmacy, and other owners to keep site and service information aligned.
