Job summary

MercyOne Health System is seeking a Supervisor Courier Services to plan, organize, and supervise courier operations for hospital and clinics. You will manage transporter activities, ensure timely deliveries of specimens, mail, and supplies, and maintain regulatory compliance.

The role requires overseeing staff, scheduling, and engaging with clients and laboratory staff to ensure satisfaction. A degree in a related field is preferred, with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Supervision, logistics, or lab experience required or preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and compliant driving record per Iowa standards.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training due within 3 months of hire.
• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily courier operations for hospital, clinics, and ancillary areas.
• Manage 20 FTE and 200+ daily stops within Iowa.
• Ensure DOT standards for specimen and chemical transport are followed.
