Job summary

Highmark Inc. is seeking a finance and analytics professional to own the financial reporting of its strategic cost of care savings program. You will gather data from multiple partners, perform quality checks, analyze data, and produce executive leadership reports with insights on program impact.

You will develop dashboards and reports showing total program impact, track outcomes, and provide strategic recommendations to focus opportunities. Hybrid or remote work with some onsite requirement.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Medical Economics, Healthcare Analytics, Informatics or Actuarial Services in healthcare payer sector
• Strong coding background (R, Python, SQL) and dashboard experience (Tableau/Power BI)
• Bachelor's degree in business, health, economics, mathematics/actuarial sciences or related field
• Master's degree preferred in related area

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic/tactical insights into emerging medical cost trends and present analytics to executives
• Extract, summarize and analyze large datasets using SAS, SQL or similar tools
• Coordinate savings projections and post-implementation savings measurements
• Develop business case and savings estimates to enable deeper projections
• Present analytics findings clearly to business partners and leadership
• Collaborate across departments to build the full analytical story and drive cost insights
• Other duties as assigned or requested
