Job summary

Highmark Inc. is seeking a senior healthcare cost analytics professional responsible for turning large cost data into strategic insights.

You will develop value stories for programs, track outcomes, and provide guidance to partners across the organization. Using SAS, SQL, R and visualization tools, you will build executive-ready analyses and dashboards, collaborate in a matrixed environment, and contribute to decision making.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Medical Economics, Healthcare Analytics, Informatics and/or Actuarial Services in the health care payer sector
• Strong coding background (R, R Shiny, Python, SQL, etc.) and experience building dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or R Shiny
• Demonstrated ability to translate analytics into insights for business partners

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic/tactical insights into emerging medical cost trends with executive-ready presentations
• Extract, summarize and analyze large datasets using SAS, SQL, R or similar tools
• Coordinate savings projections and post-implementation measurements
• Develop business cases and savings estimates for deeper projections
• Present findings to key stakeholders and partners in a matrixed environment
