Job summary

TekSKY is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and revenue cycle management for a growing healthcare organization. You will lead daily accounting functions, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive month-end closes and external audits.

The role mentors staff, develops processes, and provides strategic analysis to senior leadership. CPA and/or MBA, plus healthcare RCM experience, are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Progressive accounting experience required.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred/required.
• Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
• RCM experience required.
• Supervisory/management experience.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and GAAP knowledge.
• Experience managing accounting teams and medical AR.
• MIS/systems knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, GL, AR, and internal controls.
• Lead month-end close and financial reporting.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and financial models.
• Oversee Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and medical AR.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate external audits and tax engagements.
• Provide financial and operational analysis to senior leadership.
• Improve accounting processes, controls, and overall financial performance.
