BrightStar Care's Local Home Care Partners in Richardson, TX is seeking a Controller to lead day-to-day financial operations, strengthen reporting, and advise on growth strategies. This hands-on finance leadership role collaborates with the CFO, CEO, and department heads in an in-office setting.

Responsibilities include monthly close, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and ensuring strong financial controls across multi-location home health operations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• 7+ years accounting experience, including 3+ years in close leadership roles.
• Healthcare finance experience with payer accounts receivable, preferably in home health or related settings.
• Experience with multi-location operations; franchise experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel and Dynamics GP or similar ERP; ADP experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the monthly close and prepare financial statements by location.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting for executive leadership.
• Analyze month-over-month performance, identify drivers, and recommend improvements.
• Develop and present quarterly board reporting packages with trends and priorities.
• Partner with the CEO on annual planning, financial strategy, KPI dashboards, and operating reviews.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting and banking relationships; covenant reporting.
• Oversee AP, cash posting, and daily reconciliations; payroll coordination with ADP when needed.
• Coordinate tax filings, 1099s, and external CPA activities; support benefits and contracts.
