Job summary

MPI is seeking a on-site Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations for commercial projects across Connecticut, including healthcare facilities. You will coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to keep schedules on track and ensure safety and quality on all sites.

The role requires 5–10 years in construction, strong leadership, and the ability to commute to Hartford, CT. Procore proficiency is preferred and candidates from healthcare or other commercial sectors are

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of construction experience, ideally in a Superintendent capacity.
• Proven experience managing commercial construction projects.
• Healthcare construction experience strongly preferred, but candidates from other commercial sectors will be considered.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing daily field operations.
• Working knowledge of Procore or similar construction management software.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to commute to Hartford, CT and work on-site as required.
• Comfortable working in a fully on-site construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects throughout Connecticut.
• Manage healthcare projects including X-ray rooms, cancer centers, pulmonary rooms, and similar facilities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and project stakeholders to maintain project schedules.
• Oversee jobsite safety, quality control, sequencing, and overall construction progress.
• Collaborate closely with project management teams and report to a General Superintendent.
• Maintain productive relationships with subcontractors and ensure work meets project expectations.
• Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects progressing efficiently.
• Utilize Procore and other standard construction technology to support project documentation and communication.
• Represent the company professionally with clients, subcontractors, and project partners.
