Job summary

MPI is seeking a Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects across Connecticut, including Hartford, with project scopes up to $30M. You will coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site teams to ensure schedule, quality, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Superintendent experience within commercial construction.
• Able to manage field operations, schedules, subcontractors, and safety.
• Experience delivering ground-up or renovation projects in commercial environments.
• Ability to commute to projects throughout Connecticut, with Hartford office access.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations on commercial projects up to $30M.
• Lead project execution from mobilization through completion while ensuring schedule, quality, and safety.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel for efficient project delivery.
• Collaborate with project managers, owners, architects, and consultants.
• Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Oversee project documentation, inspections, and compliance requirements.
• Manage projects across Connecticut across sectors including commercial, academic, healthcare, retail, and multifamily construction.
• Serve as on-site leader, maintaining strong communication and relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
