Job summary

Tahoe Forest Health System is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead planning, procurement, execution, closeout and occupancy of capital projects. You will supervise all project steps with the Manager and Director to meet district goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering/construct. management, 5+ years of experience, and a valid driver's license. DBIA Associate certification must be obtained within 12 months; healthcare construction experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or related multi-disciplinary engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• DBIA Associate certification within first 12 months of hire.
• DBIA Professional preferred; healthcare construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in bid document development and bid process activities.
• Develop project timelines and budgets.
• Execute project timelines and work plans.
• Coordinate district staff, design and contractors meetings.
• Coordinate activities of various levels of personnel and project contractors.
• Organize multiple tasks with conflicting priorities to meet deadlines and budget.
• Implement Capital Construction budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, certification and project oversight.
• Communicate effectively with a wide range of constituents.
• Ensure compliance with district construction policies and procedures.
