Job summary

Henry Ford Health System in Detroit seeks a Sr. Project Manager Construction (Full-time) to lead complex healthcare construction and renovation projects from initiation to occupancy, coordinating design, procurement, IT, and occupancy planning.

Responsibilities include managing scope, schedule and budget, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission and CMS standards, working with stakeholders, and overseeing construction meetings, documentation, and closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, engineering, architecture, business or related field.
• 5–7 years of healthcare design/construction project management experience.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam, eBuilder and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages project scope, schedule and budget for assigned projects at all HFH locations.
• Ensures compliance with internal policies and accrediting bodies (Joint Commission, CMS, etc.).
• Meets with stakeholders to define scope and space requirements for estimates.
• Coordinates with interior design for furnishing and equipment in Construction Documents.
• Oversees construction progress meetings and maintains electronic project records.
• Collaborates with IT, facilities and other teams on equipment procurement and occupancy planning.
