Job summary

CMTS, LLC seeks a Project Manager Healthcare to support the Senior Project Manager in St. Croix, USVI, guiding complex construction and infrastructure projects from planning through closeout with a focus on scope, budget, and schedule.

You will lead project teams, oversee procurement and contracts, manage risk and quality, and foster client relationships while contributing to staff development, proposals, and business development activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Architecture, or a related field required.
• Five years of construction experience with two years in project management.
• Strong knowledge of contract management, pre-design, pre-construction, renovations, and project delivery practices.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, contracts, risks, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Project Manager in managing complex construction and infrastructure projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and execution strategies.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Lead and mentor project teams while fostering collaboration, accountability, and communication.
• Coordinate planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout activities.
• Administer contracts and coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Monitor progress, milestones, and performance against objectives.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and senior leadership.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Review invoices, change orders, schedules, and costs to support controls.
• Address challenges and implement solutions to maintain objectives.
• Support procurement, bids, and contractor selections; assist with proposals and business development.
• Contribute to strategy, negotiations, and pursuit of new work.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Support compliance with federal, territorial, and program requirements.
• Participate in meetings, updates, and project records.
