Job summary

Foster Lawson seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead technical and administrative work on large healthcare construction projects. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The role requires 5-10+ years in commercial construction, healthcare experience preferred, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Excel.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in commercial construction (healthcare experience strongly preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency with healthcare construction processes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and document control.
• Coordinate with design teams, owners, and trade partners.
• Support project scheduling, cost tracking, and procurement.
• Lead portions of project execution and field problem-solving.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare, OSHPD/HCAI, and safety standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
• Assist in preconstruction, constructability reviews, and buyout.
