Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Executive to lead projects from discovery to closeout, handling both PM duties and executive responsibilities. The role emphasizes safety, schedule adherence, contract negotiations, and client relationships across healthcare construction programs.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commercial construction, a four-year degree or substantial equivalent experience, and proficiency with industry tools and reading drawings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Prior healthcare construction project experience required.
• A four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
• Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to execute multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintains adherence to HITT's standards of safety
• Negotiates terms and conditions of contracts with clients
• Monitors the progress of each project through updated schedules
• Ensures proper assignment and evaluation of field personnel
• Leads the preconstruction and RFP package effort
• Acquires new work and maintains existing clients
• Fosters relationships with subcontractors and vendors
• Closeout processes managed timely
