Job summary

HITT Contracting seeks a seasoned Project Executive in Atlanta to shepherd commercial construction projects from discovery and design through development and closeout. You will oversee project managers, ensure safety, schedules, quality control, and client satisfaction on both small and large-scale projects, with a focus on healthcare construction.

The ideal candidate holds a four-year degree (construction/engineering/business) or equivalent experience, 10+ years in commercial construction, and

Qualifications

• A four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction.
• Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to execute multiple projects and/or simultaneously.
• Mastery of reading construction drawings and proficiency with project management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage small and large-scale projects from discovery through closeout.
• Ensure safety and adherence to HITT standards.
• Negotiate contracts and monitor project schedules.
• Lead preconstruction and RFP package efforts.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and internal staff.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to secure new work.

A Project Executive is responsible for all of the duties performed by the Project Manager as well as the following:ResponsibilitiesMaintains adherence to HITT’s standards of safetyEnsures the all job processes are followed in accordance with HITT policiesNegotiates terms and conditions of contracts with clientsMonitors the progress of each project through updated schedulesEnsures that the project Quality Control Plan is followedAssists that project staff in resolving scope problems with subcontractorsEnsures proper assignment and evaluation of field personnel both within the project team and throughout the companyIdentifies and negotiates time extensions where justified and allowedAcquires new work as well as maintaining existing clientsMaintains positive relationships with the subcontractor communityEnsures timely completion of closeout processLeads the preconstruction and RFP package effort with the help of the Preconstruction Department and/or other company resourcesDelegates responsibility when necessary to ensure that the project/tasks run smoothlyQualifications10+ years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractorPrior healthcare construction project experience requiredA four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to execute multiple projects and/or simultaneouslyAbility to master sector/project-specific software systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite (ex.
