Job summary

Ajax Building Company, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking a Healthcare Project Manager to lead complex healthcare construction from preconstruction through closeout. You will oversee occupied hospitals, medical office buildings, and surgical centers while partnering with field leadership, subcontractors, and stakeholders to deliver safe, on-schedule, and on-budget projects.

The role requires coordination with hospital administrators, AHCA regulators, and clinical teams to maintain

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Healthcare construction experience strongly preferred, including hospitals and medical facilities.
• Experience managing projects within occupied healthcare environments preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• General Contractor License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and closeout of healthcare construction projects.
• Coordinate field leadership, subcontractors, and stakeholders to deliver safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Develop project operating procedures, schedules, and communication plans to minimize disruption to hospital operations.
• Manage budgets, schedules, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Oversee procurement, contracts, change orders, RFIs, and cost reporting.
• Lead planning for phased construction, infection control, and occupancy transitions.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, healthcare systems, and design teams.
