Job summary

Davenergy Solutions seeks a full-time, onsite Construction Manager to support the VA Medical Center in San Francisco as part of the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades program. You will serve as the Owner’s Representative, coordinating with VA staff, contractors, architects, and IT specialists in a secure healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include field inspections, progress monitoring, documentation, as-built verification, and safety oversight to meet contract requirements and timely project

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years observing and monitoring construction projects.
• Experience in construction management and QA/QC on healthcare or federal projects.
• Ability to read, interpret drawings, specs, submittals, and other docs.
• Knowledge of data centers, telecom rooms, power, HVAC, grounding.
• Strong written and verbal communication with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and verify materials, workmanship, and systems per contract and codes.
• Monitor progress, milestones, phasing, and schedule adherence; flag delays.
• Review submittals, RFIs, tests, and schedules; provide comments.
• Prepare daily reports and organize project documentation.
• Verify as-built conditions and maintain punch lists.
• Assist with change orders and coordination with VA and contractors.
• Coordinate shutdowns, outages, and phased work with VA teams.
• Attend project meetings with PM, VA staff, contractors, and engineers.
• Support special inspections, testing, commissioning, and project turnover.
• Support site safety with contractor and VA safety personnel.
