Job summary

Davenergy Solutions seeks a full-time, onsite Construction Manager to support the VA Medical Center in Fresno as part of the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades program. You will oversee construction activities, coordinate with VA staff, contractors, and engineers, and ensure safety and compliance across telecommunications rooms, power, HVAC, grounding, and related systems.

The role requires five years of construction oversight, experience with healthcare or federal projects, and strong documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience observing and monitoring construction projects.
• Experience in construction management, quality assurance/quality control, inspection, superintendent work, or owner-side construction support on commercial, healthcare, federal, or institutional projects.
• Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate construction drawings, specifications, submittals, and other contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections to verify materials, workmanship, and systems meet contract requirements.
• Monitor progress, milestones, phasing, and schedules; flag delays or coordination issues.
• Review project documentation and provide clear written comments or recommendations.
• Prepare daily reports and maintain organized project documentation.
• Perform field verification of as‑built conditions.
• Create and maintain punch lists for government review.
• Assist with estimating change orders and coordination with stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with various teams.
