Cumming Group is seeking an Architectural Project Inspector to oversee quality control on Facilities Management projects in Houston, TX. The role emphasizes inspecting materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with contract documents, with a focus on healthcare construction.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years’ ICC code experience. A strong emphasis on documentation, coordination with CCM, and clear communication with owners and contractors is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, Engineering, Surveying, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years' experience with all ICC codes, specifically architectural; 2+ years' experience with all state ICC codes.
• Healthcare construction experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Inspects materials, installation, and layout of work on the project site and evaluates its acceptability.
• Determines and notifies contractor of unacceptable material or work with CCM's approval.
• Serves as liaison between CCM, operations, Owner, and contractor during construction.
• Performs or supervises quality control testing.
• Maintains thorough and accurate records documenting the entire process of the project.
