Job summary

ENFRA Solutions is seeking a Director of Construction to lead field operations across multiple projects, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards. You will collaborate with regional leadership to set standards and drive outcomes.

You will develop SOPs for safety, planning, and quality, mentor site teams, and coordinate with IS Delivery and executives to meet client expectations. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related area.
• 15+ years' experience managing large, complex commercial construction projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization.
• Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Strong mentoring, coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise
• Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask
• Superior management skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers
• Self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented
• Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management, the segment group's corporate management, and staff

Responsibilities

• Work with Vice Presidents and IS Delivery to implement strategic goals.
• Report to Senior Vice President, IS Delivery Region.
• Enforce company policies and procedures across field operations.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align field ops with strategic vision.
• Provide expertise in planning, resource allocation, and operational strategies.
• Champion a culture of safety and compliance with OSHA and company policies.
• Coordinate with HSE on safety training and risk mitigation.
• Monitor safety metrics and lead zero-incident initiatives.
• Review field operations for on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Drive operational efficiency through standardized processes and technology.
• Coordinate between project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors for momentum and quality.
• Develop quality control standards and inspection procedures.
• Oversee QA protocols, inspections, testing, and documentation.
• Address quality-related issues promptly.
• Develop relationships with subcontractors and evaluate performance.
• Mitigate risks from subcontractor performance and scope creep.
• Plan preconstruction, scheduling, budgeting, and resources.
• Identify risks and opportunities during planning and execution.
• Guide resource utilization for efficiency and profitability.
• Build and lead a high-performing field ops team.
• Mentor field leadership to advance skills and careers.
• Act as primary client contact throughout project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development, sustainability, and PM teams for repeat business.
• Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.
• Provide feedback during Pre-Construction phase on delivery strategies.
