Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or related field.
• Minimum of two years of relevant research or professional experience in computer vision; for master's degree, post-degree experience is required.
• Strong Python programming for ML applications and reproducible code.
• Experience with vision transformers for computer vision tasks.
• Familiarity with PyTorch and TensorFlow frameworks.
• Knowledge of AI/ML evaluation metrics, benchmarking, and CV model validation.
• Understanding of model optimization techniques (pruning, quantization, mixed precision).
• Experience deploying models with ONNX, LibTorch, or TensorRT.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, evaluate, and enhance ML/DL algorithms for computer vision in healthcare.
• Implement and optimize deployment pipelines for scalable, hardware-optimized inference.
• Apply model optimization techniques to improve efficiency while preserving accuracy.
• Maintain data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
• Collaborate with clinical partners and internal stakeholders on AI/ML solutions.
• Independently manage R&D projects from problem formulation to delivery.
• Ensure reproducibility through documentation and version-controlled workflows.
• Stay current with AI/ML and computer vision advances and assess applicability.
• Communicate technical methods, results, and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
