CHC/SEK in Kansas seeks a Compliance Assistant under the General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer to research, analyze, and recommend actions ensuring regulatory compliance (CMS, HRSA, HIPAA, FTCA). You will support risk management and health information management tasks and help prepare documents for audits.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of undergrad, be in a law/pre-law track (3+3 preferred), and hold a valid driver's license for travel.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of undergraduate coursework completed and in good standing.
• Enrolled in a law, pre-law, or 3+3 program preferred.

Responsabilités

• Research, analyze, and assess compliance with federal and state laws and regulations (Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, FTCA, etc.).
• Support patient-related legal tasks in real estate, landlord-tenant, municipal, and family law areas.
• Provide clerical support to General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer (correspondence, calendars, filing).
• Organize and maintain documents (electronic/paper filing) with Compliance staff.
• Prepare documents for surveys, audits, or legal claims.
• Perform duties in full compliance with CHC/SEK policies and procedures.
