Job summary

Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support its Legal Department. You will manage contract administration, perform legal research, and handle document management with strict confidentiality.

The role requires at least five years of senior paralegal experience, an associate degree, and a CP certification (or within six months of hire). Travel may be required; strong English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior paralegal experience in corporate or in-house setting.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Certified Paralegal (CP) certification preferred or obtained within six months of hire.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal.
• Valid driver’s license; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide paralegal and administrative support to the Legal Department, including drafting correspondence and documents and maintaining calendars.
• Organize and maintain legal, compliance, insurance, and other documents using electronic/paper filing systems and contract logs.
• Assist with contract administration by reviewing and preparing contracts, MOUs, amendments, and related documents.
• Monitor deadlines, renewals, and requirements for contracts and regulatory filings; communicate timelines.
• Support vendor/procurement activities and prepare RFPs and related documents.
