Job summary

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, a part of LifePoint Health, seeks a Compliance Coordinator to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local standards across the medical center. You will support readiness programs, monitor plans of correction, and collaborate with hospital leadership to maintain high quality care and patient safety.

The role emphasizes regulatory knowledge, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive problem-solving to uphold Joint Commission, DOH, and insurer requirements

Qualifications

• Knowledge of regulatory standards (TJC, CMS, state licensure) and ability to monitor compliance
• Ability to conduct root-cause analyses and develop corrective action plans
• Strong communication and collaboration across departments involved in compliance

Responsibilities

• Ensure system and processes comply with regulatory agencies (TJC, PA DOH, insurers, fire protection, etc.).
• Develop and maintain continuous readiness programs for compliance.
• Monitor plans of correction and report variances to facility leadership.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and create action plans with facility leadership.
• Educate leaders across disciplines on regulatory changes and incorporate into the program.
• Track Opportunities for Improvement and sentinel events to focus on high risk areas.
