Job summary

The West Virginia University Health System is seeking an Enterprise Compliance Auditor/Educator to help develop policies, monitor compliance, and participate in meetings representing the Compliance Department. The role focuses on CMS, state regulations, and payor guidelines across WVUHS and affiliates.

Responsibilities include assessing regulatory risk, outlining audit scope with leadership, analyzing data with reporting tools, communicating findings to executives, and drafting formal audit

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience or a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of healthcare experience.
• Preferred CHC certification from HCCA to demonstrate knowledge of compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in annual and ongoing risk assessment and compliance work plan development.
• Define audit scope with compliance leadership and prepare data reports.
• Independently conduct compliance audits to verify regulatory and payor rule adherence.
• Communicate findings with executives and frontline staff; document interactions for reports.
• Lead meetings to review audit reports and develop corrective action plans.
