Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Operations, or Business Administration.
• EMT Licensed clinical provider.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Three (3) years of experience in EMS, Healthcare or Operations.
• Advanced understanding of EMS-specific laws and standards.
• Master’s Degree in related field (preferred).
• Paramedic Licensed clinical provider (preferred).
• Five (5) years in Healthcare/EMS Administration or Operations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify compliance issues through audits, investigations, inspections and assessments.
• Monitor EMS regulations and update policies to remain compliant.
• Develop emergency response plans compliant with regulations.
• Lead Safety Committee and monthly safety hazard audits.
• Oversee Bio Med maintenance, grant and policy management and vendor relations.
• Develop data collection and analysis to assess risk and resolve operations problems.
• Manage insurance and asset reporting, and relationships with vendors.
• Advise senior management on compliance risks and mitigation.
• Maintain documentation of compliance activities and reporting.
• Serve as HIPAA Privacy officer for the agency.
