Job summary

TXM ER & Hospital in Manor seeks a Community Outreach Coordinator to build relationships with local employers, schools, and community groups and to represent the hospital at events.

The role involves planning and staffing outreach events, coordinating messaging with the marketing team, tracking results, and ensuring patient privacy in all communications. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in community outreach, business development, marketing, or public relations.
• Comfort presenting to groups and representing the organization publicly.
• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to speak on behalf of the hospital.
• Ability to work independently, plan events, and travel locally.
• Availability for occasional evenings and weekends when community events require it.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with local employers, schools, churches, civic groups, and community organizations in Manor and the surrounding area.
• Represent TXM ER & Hospital at community events, health fairs, and local business and civic meetings.
• Plan, staff, and evaluate outreach events, screenings, and education sessions.
• Build referral relationships with area clinics, urgent cares, EMS, and physician practices.
• Support local marketing execution across print, digital, social, and signage, consistent with TXM brand guidelines.
• Produce community-facing materials and coordinate messaging and approvals with the marketing strategist.
• Track outreach activity, referral sources, and event outcomes, and report results to leadership.
• Gather community and patient feedback and route service concerns to the appropriate leader.
• Route media and sponsorship requests through leadership before making any public commitment.
• Protect patient privacy in all outreach, marketing, and social media activity.
• Have a deep understanding of our services and offerings at TXM to be able to speak to business development.
• Work collaboratively with Detox Coordinator in strategic planning of referral sources.
