Zusammenfassung

Parrish Medical Center's Health Information Management department seeks an experienced supervisor to lead the Coding section of professional fee coding operations. You will oversee coding, quality reviews, and act as a liaison to medical staff and other departments to ensure accurate documentation and coding assignment.

Reporting to the Director of Health Information Management, this on-site role requires a Bachelor's in health information or related field, CCS/CPC certification, and at least 3

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination with coding experience.
• CCS or CPC certification required; RHIA/RHIT preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of professional fee coding experience.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and coordinate the Coding section of professional fee coding operations.
• Lead coding accuracy and efficiency, and liaison with staff and departments.
• Conduct regular coding quality studies and provide education.
• Develop and maintain coding policies, procedures, and CMS guideline updates.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of abstracts and AHCA reporting.
