Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years work experience beyond the minimum qualification.
• 4 Years of Experience
• Must have one of these certifications: CCS, CCS-P, CIRCC, COC, CPC, RHIA, RHIT.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a service area liaison between Baylor Scott and White Healthcare, providers, and third-party suppliers.
• Use key performance metrics to track services and monitor KPIs and CPIs.
• Educates physicians, clinicians, and others on coding, guidelines, and documentation improvement.
• Reviews and stays abreast of new regulations and coding guidelines.
• May perform routine coding quality reviews on coders and/or auditors including third-party suppliers as needed.
• Maintains and protects the confidentiality of patient protected health information, serving as a role model by demonstrating effective customer relations.
