Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• No healthcare, insurance, or claims experience required — comprehensive training provided.
• Willingness to learn healthcare terminology and insurance claims processes.
• Ability to work onsite in Provalus office; no remote positions available currently.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply claims processing procedures through structured training.
• Research claims status, benefits, eligibility, and coverage details using CRM and internal systems.
• Handle member and provider inquiries related to claims processing, billing questions, coverage, and customer service.
• Provide members and providers with clear information regarding plan benefits and claims status.
• Process claims-related forms and other member/provider requests accurately and timely.
• Identify and escalate complex issues to senior team members or management as needed.
• Route inbound calls to appropriate internal resources (claims, billing, clinical teams).
• Follow up on more complicated member calls with trainer support.
• Maintain confidentiality of PHI/PII per HIPAA; training provided.
• Coordinate with internal departments as needed.
• Ask questions and seek guidance from trainers and team leads.
