Job summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking a Senior Director of Construction to provide strategic direction and operational leadership for capital construction projects across SHC facilities. You will partner with Facilities Planning and Design, Real Estate, Clinical Operations and executive leadership to ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality targets while enabling new models of care.

This on-site role requires strong stakeholder management and a hands-on approach to drive best practices

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading Facilities Construction projects for HCAI Level 1 acute care hospital facilities.

Responsibilities

• Define Facilities Construction strategy and policies in alignment with capital plan and SHC priorities.
• Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships across Stanford Medicine, Stanford University, and external agencies such as local municipalities and the Department of Health Access and Information (HCAI)/Office of Statewide Planning and Development (OSHPD).
• Oversee and manage construction budgets and departmental operating costs within financial guidelines and parameters.
• Actively participate in disaster preparedness and recovery program as applied to construction operations and facilities coordination.
• Oversee annual planning process for Facilities Construction department.
