Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to support a hospital and multiple clinics across Temple, TX. The role covers preventive maintenance, repairs, and building upkeep for complex healthcare facilities, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

You will work a first-shift schedule for training, then a dedicated first shift. Candidates should have 1–2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to lift 50 lbs. Proficiency in MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities across a large healthcare campus including a hospital and clinics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Inspect and diagnose issues, complete work orders accurately and on time.
• Respond to emergency maintenance tickets and critical failures.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
