Shield Healthcare is hiring an on-site Call Center Customer Service Agent in Valencia, CA. You will handle telephone orders, verify patient details, coordinate insurance, and provide compassionate support to patients and caregivers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and other standard tools.
• Demonstrated problem solving ability.
• Typing 35 wpm required.
• Healthcare/call center experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound calls regarding enteral nutrition supplies and service inquiries.
• Process orders and verify patient demographics and prescription details.
• Coordinate insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Educate callers on product usage and scheduling.
• Document interactions accurately in the system with HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve issues and ensure continuity of care.
• Meet performance metrics: call quality, volume, accuracy, customer satisfaction.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and policies.
