Job summary

Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma, WA, is seeking a Barista to serve staff, patients, and visitors with friendly, efficient service. You will prepare and sell coffee drinks, beverages, baked goods, and quick-service items while maintaining a clean cafe area and assisting with catering events.

The role requires basic cash handling, following drink recipes, and accurate cash register transactions. A Washington Food Worker Card and strong customer service are valued as part of our team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Set up work stations and maintain par levels of foods and supplies.
• Pull shots and follow drink recipes.
• Prepare foods and nourishments following recipes and quality standards.
• Process cash register transactions accurately.
• Support in Cafe and catered events as needed, including setup and sanitation.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, equipment and kitchen areas.
• Monitor temperatures of foods and equipment and report discrepancies.
• Adhere to policies, procedures and professional standards.
• Demonstrate Summit Pacific values and provide excellent service to patients and staff.
