Healthcare Business Development Manager

US Remote Full-time $95,000 – $145,000

About Winixx

Winixx Inc. is a New York-based technology holding company operating a portfolio of over 35 SaaS platforms across freight, financial infrastructure, workforce technology, market intelligence, and other underserved industries. Winixx Health is building a healthcare workforce platform focused on making supplemental clinical staffing more predictable, accessible, measurable, and operationally efficient. We are approaching healthcare workforce problems as an operating problem rather than simply another staffing marketplace — identifying where staffing demand exists, understanding how healthcare organizations make workforce decisions, building relationships with the people responsible for those decisions, and developing technology and workforce infrastructure that can solve those problems at scale. This is an early-stage, high-ownership environment. You will not be hired to wait for instructions from the CEO. You will be given an important problem to solve and expected to figure out how to solve it.

Role Summary

The Healthcare Business Development Manager turns validated market opportunities into healthcare customer relationships, pilots, and commercial partnerships. You will work with healthcare organizations to understand their staffing economics and operational pain, develop appropriate solutions, coordinate internal stakeholders, and move opportunities through discovery, validation, procurement, implementation, and expansion.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and manage relationships with healthcare organizations and workforce decision-makers
  • Conduct discovery conversations focused on staffing demand, contingent labor usage, workforce costs, fill rates, reliability, and operational friction
  • Determine whether an organization has a sufficiently meaningful problem for Winixx Health to solve
  • Develop account-specific business cases and pilot proposals
  • Build relationships with HR leaders, staffing executives, clinical operations leaders, procurement teams, and executive sponsors
  • Coordinate with Operations & Compliance to understand customer credentialing and onboarding requirements
  • Coordinate with product and technology teams to translate customer requirements into actionable product needs
  • Navigate procurement, legal, compliance, security, credentialing, and vendor onboarding processes
  • Develop and maintain a qualified commercial pipeline
  • Track opportunity stage, economic value, decision-makers, obstacles, and next actions
  • Identify opportunities for expansion from individual facilities to regional and enterprise relationships
  • Build long-term relationships rather than pursuing one-time transactions
  • Attend customer meetings, conferences, healthcare events, and strategic engagements as required
  • Provide market feedback to the Strategy Lead regarding pricing, customer objections, competitive positioning, and product requirements

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare business development, healthcare staffing, healthcare technology, healthcare services, enterprise sales, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience selling to or working with healthcare organizations
  • Strong understanding of healthcare purchasing and organizational decision-making
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
  • Strong discovery, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to understand customer economics and construct practical business cases
  • Comfortable navigating procurement, legal, compliance, and vendor onboarding processes
  • Strong CRM and pipeline-management discipline
  • Ability to operate independently in an early-stage environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
  • Performance bonus program tied to individual and company milestones
  • Fully remote position within the United States
  • Periodic in-person team operating sessions at designated coworking/meeting facilities
  • Travel for healthcare organizations, executive meetings, conferences, and strategic engagements as required
  • Visa sponsorship available for the right talent
  • Full-time role with a minimum one-year commitment
  • High-ownership opportunity at an early-stage healthcare technology business
  • Professional development and continuing education support
  • Paid time off and company holidays
