Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Erlanger, KY, seeks a Billing Supervisor to lead the Business Health billing team, oversee the electronic billing system, and ensure accurate month-end close.

You will collaborate with IS, Revenue Enhancement, and Registrations, and guide staff on payer communications and compliance. Responsibilities include supervising daily workflows, coaching staff, implementing system changes, and maintaining strong relationships with payers and internal departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 4+ years of related billing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in commercial, workers' compensation, and third-party hospital billing/reimbursement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee billing staff and provide coaching to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with IS, Revenue Enhancement, Registrations on system changes and upgrades.
• Ensure month-end processes and AR workflows are completed timely and accurately.
• Provide customer service and resolve payer or patient concerns per policy.
