Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher; a bachelor’s degree may substitute for required work experience.
• Knowledge of payor rules related to outpatient mental health services is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Submit and track claims for accuracy and timely payment.
• Navigate Insurance portals, EMR, and billing software.
• Analyze accounts receivable reports and follow up on unpaid claims and denials.
• Reconcile patient accounts and communicate with insurance carriers regarding disputes or appeals.
• Identify problems or processes that could impact revenue.
• Support team members to keep revenue cycle running smoothly.
• Post payments and reconcile monthly payments to the accounting system.
• Maintain compliance with insurance guidelines and HIPAA regulations.
