Job summary

CCCC LLC, a growing mental healthcare practice in Washington, DC, is seeking a Billing Specialist to join our Billing Team. This role focuses on client communication, insurance claim processing, and accurate, timely billing operations at our Washington, DC location.

You will manage denial appeals, AR aging, payer relations, and eligibility checks to maintain clean ledgers and claim timeliness. Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm; on-site position.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing and coding.
• Proficient with insurance verifications and authorizations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in postings.

Responsibilities

• Client communication: options, clinician details, services, and insurance queries.
• Respond to emails, voicemails, and faxes within 24 hours.
• Denial management: review ERAs/EOBs for commercial and Medicare/Medicaid.
• Draft and submit appeals for medical necessity or level of care denials.
• A/R aging: work 30/60/90+ day aging to reduce past-due balances.
• Payer relations: contact insurers to resolve stuck claims and COB issues.
