Community Care Physicians is seeking an AR Specialist to join the Accounts Receivable team in the Central Billing Office. The role focuses on timely follow-up of claims, ensuring coding quality, and supporting operational excellence across multiple sites.

This position is Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with one in-office day required each week. Candidates should have CPT/ICD-10 knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Qualifications

• Specialty coding experience preferred.
• Current coding credentials preferred but not required (e.g., CPC, CCS, CCS–P).
• Proficiency in CPT, ICD-10, Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology.
• Highly motivated, detail oriented, organized and able to work independently.
• Strong analytical, investigational, and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely follow up of claims for assigned specialty.
• Interpret insurance carrier policies and payer specific requirements.
• Identify, communicate, and help resolve coding trends or issues with the Manager and Operations staff.
• Complete a variety of coding and billing functions for multiple specialty locations.
• Stay current with coding updates, regulatory changes, and industry standards, and share new knowledge with the team.
• Work independently while maintaining strong organizational and investigational skills.
• Exercise sound decision making in complex coding scenarios.
