Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to gather, organize, and present data for meaningful analytics. You will train users on software and assist with advanced reporting to support decision making.

The role involves BI development, ad hoc reporting, data migration/testing support, and system administration duties, with emphasis on interpreting user needs and ensuring data integrity. Health-care data acumen is valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, data science, analytics, healthcare information systems or closely related discipline.
3 years in the analysis of business processes and interfaces including data/document interpretation and data flow diagrams.
Preferred: experience with EPIC Clarity reporting and EPIC Reporting Workbench; experience with A/R or EMR systems; knowledge of Minitab.

Responsibilities

Develops business intelligence solutions based on user needs and best practices.
Delivers ad hoc data and report requests and analyzes data discrepancies.
Administers analytics and reporting systems, monitors performance, and maintains documentation.
Provides user/system support and uses project management techniques for BI projects.
