BeneSys, Inc. is hiring a Healthcare Benefit Specialist in Missouri to help union members and families understand and access their healthcare benefits.

You will deliver award-winning service by phone and email, guiding members through eligibility, medical, dental, vision, disability, and reimbursement benefits. You will collaborate with internal teams, review claims, maintain records, and support audits and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service, healthcare, insurance, retirement, banking, or office admin experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office experience required; administrative systems experience is a plus.
• No Taft-Hartley experience required—we provide comprehensive training.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.

Responsibilities

• Assist members and providers with benefit and eligibility questions by phone and email.
• Process enrollments, eligibility updates, COBRA events, Medicare updates, and benefit changes.
• Review claims and eligibility information for accuracy according to Plan rules.
• Maintain accurate member records and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors.
• Identify issues and help resolve member concerns promptly.
• Support audits, reports, and ongoing process improvements.
