Job summary

Bartlett Cocke General Contractors in Texas is seeking a BD Manager for the greater Austin area. You will build and nurture relationships with healthcare owners, health systems, and providers, guiding regional business development, pursuits, and client engagement.

Reporting to the Central Texas Regional VP, you will collaborate with Marketing and BD teams, oversee the regional Proposals Manager, and shape strategies that align with our values and healthcare focus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B experience in AEC marketing and/or business development.
• Established relationships within the Central Texas healthcare ecosystem strongly preferred.
• Experience developing, implementing, or improving business development, pursuit, marketing, or operational processes.
• Working knowledge of construction, design, preconstruction, and project delivery processes.
• Ability to regularly travel throughout the greater Austin area and across Texas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage regional BD strategy for the Austin area.
• Cultivate healthcare owner and stakeholder relationships within healthcare systems, hospitals, and clinics.
• Lead regional proposals, interviews, and digital asset preparation for presentations.
• Collaborate with regional Project Executives, Preconstruction leaders, and project teams.
• Monitor and improve regional BD processes to ensure quality and growth.
