Job summary

Withum is seeking a Healthcare Audit Supervisor to lead engagement teams on planning, fieldwork and reporting for healthcare clients, including hospitals and systems. You will mentor staff, manage budgets and partner with clients to deliver high-quality assurances.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA or CPA-in-progress, 3+ years in public accounting and healthcare experience. Strong communication, regulatory knowledge and leadership are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license or active CPA candidate preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience.
• Experience serving healthcare clients (hospitals, systems, post-acute care).
• Understanding of healthcare-related uniform guidance and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement planning, staff supervision, and execution of audits, reviews or compilations for healthcare clients.
• Oversee day-to-day engagement operations: staffing, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting and conclusion.
• Provide guidance to staff, seniors and supervisors and coordinate with engagement partners on issues.
• Manage multiple engagements and budgets to meet client deadlines; foster client relationships.
