Job summary

Gensler is seeking an Architect to join its Healthcare practice in Florida, based in Tampa or Miami. You will lead design delivery, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure documentation meets high technical standards while prioritizing patient-centered care.

You will work in a collaborative, client-focused culture, contributing to resilient, sustainable healthcare environments and to the growth of the practice in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• 6-10 years of healthcare project experience.
• Experience with AHCA Florida approvals preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit required.
• Registered/Licensed Architect or on track to licensure.

Responsibilities

• Direct production of drawings, specs, and construction administration activities.
• Ensure documentation clearly communicates design intent and meets technical standards.
• Resolve complex technical and design challenges with innovative solutions.
• Coordinate documentation with structural, MEP, lighting, acoustics, and life-safety teams.
• Mentor team members and contribute to practice-building initiatives.
• Manage AHCA communication and approvals for Florida projects.
• Support proposal development and client relationship building.
